Not sure if you have to do it for each show but that would be my guess if not all of them update at the same time. To force Plex to update the libraries, simply rename a file or two of the folders that are linked to the sections you edited, and click on the Plex icon and click "Update Library".

To edit previously made sections, click "Edit Sections", click the pencil icon on the section you want to edit, and then show follow the same procedure in the advanced options dialog. The new section you create can be the exact same folders as the sections you already have. Now that both plugins are in place, navigate to your Media Manager, Create a new section, click "Show Advanced Options", and select BABS for scanner and AbsTVDB for agent. To access Media Manager, click on the Plex icon on the status bar on OS X and click Media Manager/right click on the taskbar icon in Windows and click on "Media Manager".

bundle file in "~Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins" on Mac and C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plugins on windows.Īlmost everything else will be done in the "Media Manager". The Library folder is hidden on Moutain Lion, to access it, make sure Finder is the forward most application (click on your desktop, click on finder in the dock, CMD+Tab until the Blue smiley face is selected, etc.), click on the "Go" Menu item, hold the Option (alt) button, and click on Library. py file in either C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Scanners\Series on Windows or ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Scanners/Series (In addition, the Plex folder can be easily accessed by right clicking on the Plex Media Server tray icon in Windows, and clicking on "Open Plugins Folder", and simply backing out of the folder to access the main directory) (the appdata folder is hidden, to easily access it, press Windows+R, type in "appdata", and hit enter.)

One last thing to note is that i do not have earlier episodes stored on my hard drive as it take up too much space, so i have yet to try early episodes.įorgive the obvious phoenix, but I recently found out how to do this and it's amazing ^_^ My question is, has anyone correctly labelled their episodes, if so, how? or is it to do with Plex's sources, and have they not yet got descriptions for these episodes. for ep 233 i tried both: 'episode 233' and 'season 08 ep 05' both should have worked but didn't) However I seem to be having a lot of trouble correctly naming One Piece episodes, i have tried separating them into seasons (following the wiki list) and have also just tried labeling them solely by their correct episode number (eg. Almost all the anime series i have added have automatically been given their correct episode names and descriptions after i had correctly filed them. Hi all, i recently downloaded PLEX for my Mac.
